Welcome to the Shredders Summer Mountain Bike Camp! Your Shredders will have an active and exciting week by engaging in a variety of different activities, which promote teamwork and personal achievement. These activities are designed with varying degrees of challenge, learning opportunities and will offer the opportunity to expand racers physical and technical boundaries in a safe and fun environment.
Boys & Girls: Ages 9 - 17
Summer camp is for intermediate to advanced riders with previous mountain biking skills & race experience (required).

(Late pickup penalty – $10 every 30 min. past 4pm)

The ins and outs.
Our activities include mountain biking, organized sports, co-operative initiatives, bike cleaning, care & maintenance, racing techniques, XC feature riding, race drills, and the building of MTB trails, jumps & features. We will be travelling to a variety of locations for daily rides. Proposed locations include Durham forest, Woodnewton, Albion, and Kelso. The main location of the camp will be “THE FARM” (940 Columbus Road West, Brooklin, Ontario).
Please note, this program is not for beginners.
As mentioned above, previous mountain biking skills & race experience are required as the focus of this camp includes advanced trail riding, bike handling, bike care &maintenance, free riding, wilderness & riding safety, and awareness and terrain tactics. This program is ideally suited for riders currently racing in local race series events, Ontario Cup series or Shredders who have previously completed the Learn to Race program.
Important things to keep in mind.
All Riders should dress appropriately for the outdoors and weather as we run rain or shine. Bike helmets are mandatory and should be brought daily. Snacks and additional water are required. Durham Shredders will not be responsible for lost or damaged electronics, personal effects brought by riders to camp.
CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY
Cancellations can be made up to June 24, 2018. Cancellation/refunds prior to this date are subject to a $50.00 administration fee. Cancellations made after June 24, 2018 will not be refunded. During camp, a doctor’s note must be provided in order to receive a refund (which will be prorated and to which the $50.00 administration fee will be applied).
