Discover the excitement of mountain biking with Durham Shredders — Canada’s largest youth mountain bike club. We help riders ages 7–19+  build confidence, skills, and a lifelong love for riding through structured programs that support every stage of development, from first-time riders to national-level competitors.

As a not-for-profit organization rooted in community, Shredders combines expert coaching, progressive skill development, and a positive team environment where athletes grow both on and off the bike.

Durham Shredders is:

  • Inclusive Environment: Open to all skill levels, from beginners to competitive racers

  • Expert Coaching: Led by experienced, certified cyclists passionate about teaching and inspiring

Programs offered

Something for all skill levels!

Evening Sessions Focus: Each session starts with the introduction of a specific cycling skill, followed by dedicated practice time. Participants are organized into smaller groups, tailored by skill level, to embark on tailored trail rides, enhancing both individual technique and group riding experience.*Riders are grouped with their peers (by age category and/or ability level) and led by club coaches and volunteers.
